Billing questions

Can I mix plans across my team?
Yes. Put mechanics on Field, inspectors on Professional, and estimators on Advisory. Volume discounts apply to your total seat count across all plans.
What happens when I add a seat mid-cycle?
New seats are prorated for the remainder of the billing period. If the addition moves you into a new volume tier, the discount applies to your next full invoice.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. 14 days on Field, Professional, and Advisory. A payment method is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial, and your subscription begins automatically at the end of day 14 unless you cancel first. We email you a reminder before the trial ends.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, by email or from your account settings. Access continues to the end of the paid period. Annual plans should be cancelled at least 30 days before renewal. See the Cancellation Policy.
Do you offer refunds?
Every paid subscription starts with a 14-day free trial you can cancel without paying anything. After that, new subscribers may request a refund within 7 days of the first charge. See the Refund & Dispute Policy.
Do you take purchase orders?
Yes, for annual plans on Enterprise and for public agencies. Contact us.
Is Elevator Intelligence affiliated with ASME, NFPA, or ICC?
No. Elevator Intelligence is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by ASME, NFPA, ICC, or any standards development organization. We surface citations so you can verify against the official published edition.
Does this replace a licensed inspector or engineer?
No. Elevator Intelligence is decision support. Responsibility for code compliance, inspections, sign-offs, and safety determinations remains with the licensed professional and the authority having jurisdiction.
